General Terms
These Terms govern your access to MiraTpaw products and the MiraTpaw.pro website. They apply to device hardware, companion apps, cloud services, and any content or services provided by MiraTpaw. By using our services you accept these Terms and any applicable supplemental terms for specific products.
Eligibility
You must be at least the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract and have authority to use MiraTpaw devices in your residence. Use for pets must comply with local laws and animal welfare guidance.
If you are under the legal age in your country, you may use our services only with involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree to use MiraTpaw devices and services lawfully and not to employ them for harmful or illegal activities, including tampering with device safety mechanisms or intercepting data from other users.
Some features or services may be restricted in certain countries. MiraTpaw operates in accordance with local regulations and may refuse service where compliance cannot be ensured.
Account Responsibilities
An account is required for many features such as cloud-based scheduling, video access, and firmware updates. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and securing your credentials.
Provide current and correct information when creating or updating your account. Accurate details help us provide timely safety notices and device updates based on your region and device model.
Protect your account credentials and enable available security features such as two-factor authentication. If you share devices with household members, configure separate profiles where supported to protect privacy.
Accounts, subscriptions, and licenses are personal and non-transferable except where MiraTpaw expressly permits transfer in writing.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify MiraTpaw support immediately and follow recovery procedures. We will work to assist with account recovery and securing device access.
MiraTpaw may suspend or limit accounts that pose security risks, violate these Terms, or are subject to fraudulent activity. We will provide notice when feasible and explain remedial steps.
Our Services
MiraTpaw provides hardware, firmware, cloud connectivity, mobile apps, and analytics features designed to assist routine pet care tasks such as automated feeding, portion tracking, and activity logging. Service offerings and availability depend on device model, subscription tier, and regional support.
Features, pricing, and availability may change. For example, if a new firmware release changes scheduling behavior, MiraTpaw will publish release notes and migration guidance with practical examples and recommended settings.
We strive for high availability, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or due to third-party outages. In case of interruptions, follow local manual procedures for feeding and pet care; our documentation contains contingency scenarios.
User Rules
To ensure safety and reliability, users must follow these rules when installing and operating MiraTpaw products. The rules reflect common-case scenarios and practical precautions.
- Install devices on stable surfaces and follow mounting instructions specific to each model to prevent tipping or spillage.
- Regularly inspect feeding mechanisms for blockages and clean components as recommended to avoid malfunction.
- Use only compatible food types and sizes recommended in the product manual to prevent jams and monitor portion accuracy.
- Provide a secondary manual feeding plan during network outages and test backups periodically to ensure continuity of care.
- Do not modify hardware or firmware except through official MiraTpaw updates; custom modifications can affect safety and void support.
- Respect privacy: do not attempt to access other users’ device feeds or data without explicit authorization.
- Report safety incidents and product malfunctions through MiraTpaw support to help improve design and to aid other users in similar scenarios.
User Content
User content includes photos, videos, notes, and device-generated logs you upload or create within MiraTpaw services. Content can be useful for case tracking, vet consultations, or sharing tips within the community.
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you confirm you have the rights to share that content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
By using MiraTpaw services you grant MiraTpaw a limited license to store, display, and transmit content as needed to provide features (e.g., streaming video to your devices or sharing a clip with a veterinarian). We use the minimum rights necessary to operate those features.
You are responsible for the content you share. Avoid publishing sensitive personal data or third-party private information without consent. Follow community guidelines when sharing case studies or troubleshooting examples.
You may delete your content via account controls. In certain cases (security, legal retention), backups may persist for a reasonable period before full removal.
Intellectual Property
All software, firmware, designs, activity, and content provided by MiraTpaw are protected intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or use MiraTpaw IP beyond the license rights granted for personal use of purchased devices.
- Do not reproduce MiraTpaw proprietary software or firmware without written permission.
- Do not remove or alter proprietary notices on devices, packaging, or software.
- Restricted developer access: third-party integrations require explicit approval and must comply with our API terms.
Paid Services
Some MiraTpaw features, such as advanced analytics, cloud storage of video clips, and premium support, require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.
Pricing for paid tiers is listed on MiraTpaw.pro and in-app. Prices reflect feature sets and may include regional taxes and fees applicable in Malaysia.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. You must provide valid payment information and authorize recurring charges for subscription services.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Cancellation stops future billing but may not retroactively refund prior billing periods except as described in our refunds policy.
Refunds are evaluated case-by-case. For example, if a device shipped defective and a replacement is not feasible, MiraTpaw may offer a refund following verification and return procedures.
To cancel a subscription, use account settings or contact support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
Applicable taxes, duties, or fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be displayed at checkout where required.
We may modify subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will receive notice and have an option to accept new rates or cancel at the next renewal.
Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features and eventual termination of account access after notice.
Disclaimer
MiraTpaw products are tools to assist in routine pet care. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice or direct supervision. Use of devices is at your own risk and according to product instructions and animal welfare guidance.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiraTpaw is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from device use, including but not limited to missed feedings due to network outages, improper setup, or user error. Liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price of the affected hardware, subject to applicable law.
Third-Party Services
MiraTpaw may integrate with third-party services (cloud storage, payment processors, voice assistants). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Integration availability depends on third-party terms and regional support.
Termination
MiraTpaw may terminate or restrict access to services for accounts that violate these Terms or present security risks. Users may terminate their accounts via account settings; termination does not automatically delete backups retained for legal or security reasons.
Upon termination, access to cloud features and stored content may be removed. Hardware may continue to operate locally but cloud-dependent features will cease functioning without an active account.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy (available on MiraTpaw.pro) describes how we collect, use, and share data. We recommend reviewing it to understand how device telemetry, camera feeds, and account information are handled.
Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive communications related to account activity, security notices, and product updates. Promotional messages are sent only with consent and may be opted out of as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
MiraTpaw may update these Terms periodically to reflect product changes. Material changes will be posted on MiraTpaw.pro and, where appropriate, notified to registered users with an opportunity to review before continuation of service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Malaysia. Any disputes will be subject to local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection regulations.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, please contact MiraTpaw support to attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes may proceed under the legal procedures applicable in Malaysia.
